Guest Speaker OneÂ
Joe is a longstanding LGBTIQA+ community activist and CEO of Switchboard Victoria. Joe believes in grass roots solutions to systemic issues and draws upon LGBTIQA+ history and the wisdom of LGBTIQA+ elders to guide their work. In 2020 Joe was honoured as one of the 50 Outstanding LGBTI+ Leaders in Australia. Joe proudly identifies as trans non-binary and uses the pronouns they/them. Joe works and lives on the lands of the Kulin Nation in Narrm (Melbourne) Victoria.
Guest Speaker Two
Libby Jamieson is the Teleweb manager at Switchboard, the Victorian partner of the national LGBTIQ peer support service Qlife. Libby started volunteering at Switch in 1994 and has held various roles in the organisation. Libby also manages the Rainbow Door. The Rainbow door is a LGBTIQA+ Helpline based in Victoria. The service operates as a connector/navigator service for people experiencing Family and Intimate partner violence, people who have experienced or are experiencing sexual violence, mental health issues, homelessness, AOD issues among other things. Libby has been working in the family violence space since 2011.
