About the Event
We Hear You! Raising Awareness and Education about Domestic abuse is the primary focus for our volunteer program. Â We know this topic is the single most important social issue impacting thousands and millions of lives around the world. So we want to make an extra effort and go one more step further in support of all the courageous survivors-advocates | members of the public impacted by truama related to domestic abuse, sexual abuse and coercserive control and invite you to register for your seletced choise of 1 hour free online theraputic andf holistic workshops. We have handpicked a selection of professional experts to provide their knowledge in their field of trauma and mental well-being.
We know there are long waiting lists to access specialist support services, or they may be too experienced for some who do not have access to public support services. So here is our way to help in some small way, with the generous collaboration from our experts who were happy to get involved and give up their valuable time.
Breakout Session 1 - Workshop: 'Reclaiming Your Personal Power'

With over 20 years experience and clients across the the globe Kaylene is a highly skilled practitioner and thought leader with qualifications in Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy, Thought Field Therapy, Access Consciousness, Soul Psychology and Lateral Thinking.
Shari Botwin, LCSW has been counseling survivors in recovery from trauma, abuse, eating disorders, depression and anxiety in her South Jersey Private Practice for over 24 years. Her second book, Thriving After Trauma: Stories of Living and Healing (Rowman & Littlefield) is a compilation of patient stories and healing strategies. Botwin just launched a podcast with Judge Aquilina, Warrior Women Speak: Because Your Voice Matters.
Two:Â Zoom Breakout Session 2 - Letting go of the shame and managing PTSD
Join Shari Botwin, in this workshop on letting go of the shame and managing PTSD after surviving any type of domestic violence. Often times, survivors get hit with all kinds of emotions once they find safety. During this workshop Botwin will talk with attendees about coping strategies and different types of support they can utilize to move out of the shame and into full living.
Breakout session 3 - Kim O'Reilly a survivor of domestic perpetrator violence and anti-violence crusader 'no-violence tolerance policy in the sport arena. Kim with host a session on recognising the red flags within a relationship, so you can identify if this is happening to you. Our most recent feedback report event in May, the topic the audience wanted to learn more about was, 'ways to support and recognise abuse as a loved one', which will part part of the interactive session with Kim.
